Hey there, I came across this entry randomly, while googling for Everything Is Illuminated on Romanian online bookstores (hopelessly I'm afraid).
I'm glad to see there are more people in this country who've heard of JSF. I've discovered him last autumn and every since I keep recommending him to all my friends.
I see the entry is dated August 2006 and I haven't bothered to check if you're still keeping this blog. However, I was wondering if..perhaps you could get me hold of a copy (any format) of Extremely Loud and Incredbly Close. I live in Bucharest and I's long given up storlling through the bookstores. Hope this makes sense...
Thanx

I didn't know you were such a fan of his. I haven't read the new one, but it seems like it received about as warm a welcome as Dave Egger's second book. Doesn't the new JSF have drawings in it? What's that like?
